Librarian

Librarian - Job Description:

Keeps the troops books, pamphlets, magazines, audio-visuals and merit badge counselors list available to troop members.

NB In Troop election/selections for this role - first preference is given to Scouts at First Class Rank and above.

Duties:

- Physically manage the Troop Library of materials of all kinds, most notably Merit Badge Books

- Maintain an inventory of Library contents

- Add new or replacement items as needed, and retire obsolete materials

- Manage a system for Scouts to check-out & return borrowed materials
