Communications Coordinator

Job Description Outline:

Duties:

  •  Prepare a regular Troop communication newsletter (events/activities)
  •  Handle Troop external publicity (local community and Cub Scout packs)
  •  Support the Troop Website content & access (or act as Webmaster)

    In absence of a Communications Coordinator the duties of this role are the responsibility of the Secretary. Since the Secretary still bears the ultimate responsibility for these duties they will provide oversight/guidance for the Communications Coordinator.

    Holder of this Officer Role cannot concurrently hold any other Troop Committee Officer Role (except Charter Organization Representative) also cannot hold a concurrent role as a Scoutmaster or Assistant Scoutmaster
