*Note these interactive maps may show only basic features in some browsers. All features should be active in the latest version of MS Internet Explorer. Unfortunately since these mapping services are provided by Microsoft we have no control over compatibility. Just browsing... but interested in joining Troop 278? This website is not really a recruiting tool - but you can get an idea of what our Troop does in these pages... If you are interested in joining Troop 278 please contact the Scoutmaster - details on the Contacts Page. Boys must be aged between 11-17 to join or transfer into the Troop or may join at age 10 only if they have completed the 'Arrow of Light' award in Cub Scouts or have already graduated the 5th grade. Usually Cubs Scouts visit the Troop in the winter & formally join in the spring of their 5th grade school year. Troop 278's largest source of new Scout recruits are local Cub Packs 278 & 978 but all others are welcome. Please -
