Meeting Dues:

Scouts are required to pay dues of $0.50 per meeting (regardless whether you attend or not).

The dues are collected by individual patrol leaders at the first meeting held every month (usually the first Monday of the month).

Dues that are in arrears may be collected at other meetings too but please remember to bring your dues money to the first meeting of the month - see the calendars for details/reminders.

Patrol leaders are responsible for collecting money from their patrol members and to collate details on who paid & how much. The Troop Scribe is responsible for collecting all the dues and working with the Troop Treasurer to keep track of Troop wide payment details.

  • Dues do help fund the activities of the Troop and the monthly payment of dues is also a chance for Scouts to feel a direct financial responsibility for their own Scouting experience.

  • Scouts can choose to pre-pay their dues for a month, or through the end of the Scout year (or for any period in between).

  • Scouts can also chose to fund their dues from their Scout account if they have sufficient monies accrued to them from Troop fundraising.

  • If you need to know what funds you have in your Scout account please contact the Troop Treasurer for details.

  • Note - Scouts who are not current with their dues will not be allowed to participate in Troop outdoor activities until they are brought current.
