Chiricahua Camp and Hike

Get ready for a three day weekend of fun! We’ll be camping and exploring in the Chiricahua Mountains in Southeastern Arizona. This car camp will include plenty of hikes both within and outside of the Chiricahua National Monument. We depart early Saturday morning and return on Monday (Labor Day) evening. We will stay at one of the primitive campsites in Coronado National Park that are car accessible - these are near the entrance to the National Monument and there are plenty of trails close to the campsites. Wildlife and incredible scenery will be very plentiful! We will visit Faraway Ranch, the ‘Buffalo Soldier’ Memorial and the visitor center We’ll have great hiking amongst the balanced rocks of Rhyolite Canyon & the Heart of Rocks Loop – See Punch & Judy, Duck on a Rock, Big Balanced Rock & Pinnacle Balanced Rock.

The Chiricahua’s are a ‘Jewel of Arizona’ – yet we will likely have the trails almost to ourselves

Please see attached flyer for more details.
