Sunrise Ski Trip '07: 

Friday February  9th - Sunday February 11th

Trip Leader: Mr Cowee & Mrs Cowee

Event Summary:

Approximately 26 Scouts and family members drove out to Lakeside/Pinetop on Friday evening - many getting there in time to rent equipment. Saturday morning was a nice clear day with good snow conditions at Sunrise Park Resort. Snow coverage was a bit patchy in some places on the mountain but most lifts and runs were open. We had a full day's skiing - but not so long there wasn't some energy left for a snowball fight back at the hotel parking lot! On Sunday it was a lot quieter on the mountain - shorter lift lines and most families skied for another half day before heading for home. No injuries - another successful Troop Ski Trip!
