Reavis Ranch Overnight Hike
From the
Rogers Trough Trailhead we will hike approximately 1.5 miles to the Rogers
Canyon/Reavis Ranch trail junction and bear right, climbing to the Reavis
Saddle. From the
junction, we’ll have another 5 miles (6.5 miles total) before we reach Reavis
Ranch. There
should be water flowing in Reavis creek that we can filter. We’ll camp overnight
at Reavis
Ranch and then backtrack on Sunday morning. Depending on the size of our group,
we might
consider a two trailhead start, one group from Rogers Trough Trailhead and one
group from the
Reavis Trailhead. Each group could then thru hike to the other trailhead. This
would also
increase the two day mileage from 13 to 16. This is a moderate intensity hike.
