Canceled - Haunted Canyon Backpack Trip

Saturday October 24^th to Sunday 25^th

We will hike a total of 9 miles on the Haunted Canyon Trail from the lower trailhead to the upper trailhead (car shuttle). We will camp at approximately the midpoint at an old ranch called Tony Ranch (elev 3822 feet). There is an old log cabin that is used as an emergency shelter. There is also a spring at the ranch. As a service project we would like to replenish some of the emergency supplies stored at the cabin. This will require Scouts helping pack in and out some additional supplies. If we share the load we are not talking about a lot of extra weight. We will also tidy up the area, trash removal etc.
